Alexei Mizin & Ryan van Dijk are an award-winning screenwriting team based across Sydney and Melbourne with a passion for innovative and propulsive storytelling.They are the creators, writers and script producers of the Stan Original erotic thriller WATCHING YOU based on the novel by J.P. Pomare and produced by Lingo Pictures. WATCHING YOU was nominated for Best Lead Actress in Drama at the 2026 AACTA Awards, as well as Best Drama and Best Lead Actress in Drama at the 2026 Logies Awards. The series was acquired by Disney for global distribution and is available internationally on Hulu (US) and Disney+ (UK).Alexei & Ryan are also part of the writing team on the upcoming crime thriller LAST SEEN, produced by 60Forty Films (UK) and Werner Film & Television Productions (AU) for Apple TV.In 2026 Alexei & Ryan were selected for the prestigious Talent Gateway program run by Australians in Film in partnership with Screen Australia. They were also named as one of Inside Film’s annual Rising Stars list. Alexei & Ryan have original and IP-led projects in development with leading production companies in Australia. They sold an original pilot to Apple TV, and have developed high-end original projects for Disney+ and the AMC Network.
